Sip & Print: Gel Plate Printing & Monotype

Explore two different ways to create one-of-a-kind prints in this relaxed, beginner-friendly workshop.

First, you will use a gel plate to experiment with ink, paint, color, texture, stencils, masks, and found materials. You will build layers directly on the plate and transfer your finished design onto paper by hand.

You will also create a traditional monotype by painting or rolling ink onto a smooth plate, then running it through the printing press to produce a unique print.

Every image will be different, and no drawing or printmaking experience is needed. All tools and materials are included.
